The Sage Grouse Initiative is hiring a Rangeland Ecologist in Tremonton, UT to provide sage grouse‐related range / wildlife / habitat technical assistance for SGI and associated Farm Bill conservation programs to private agricultural landowners.

SGI is looking to fill a job vacancy in Burley, Idaho, and seeks someone qualified to provide range and wildlife technical assistance for conservation programs to agriculture producers and landowners.

This rangeland ecologist will be based out of the NRCS field office in Montrose, CO, and work on conservation efforts for the Gunnison Sage Grouse in central western Colorado.

Join SGI partner, the Bi-State Local Area Working Group, for an upcoming conference on how to manage the threat of conifer encroachment on sage-grouse habitat in California and Nevada. The forum takes place Feb. 25-26 in Minden, Nevada.
